What a fantastic, delicate, lovely twining rope of a story! From the heart-rending start, where I could sense the pain of the two lovers being separated, to the tender and delicate ending, where they finally find a way to reconcile... this whole game gave me a sense of tender nostalgia, loss, and then longing. Van was such a lovely character and it was so wonderful seeing him speak of his art and how he used it to reconcile his feelings of loss. Amazing work!
By the way, I JUST DISCOVERED that after you play the "main route" by going to start... you can unlock a verrrry nice "secret" by going to the red string on the main menu. And for those of you who want to see a more detailed review...
SPOILERS UP AHEAD, DON'T READ IF YOU WANT TO EXPERIENCE THE SECRET FOR YOURSELF FIRST!!!
(You can actually unlock a whole new scenario/life where MC and Van became colleagues because Van was never able to follow his dream to be a photographer... so they are colleagues who have a VERY tense (and tension-filled...) relationship with one another. It's absolutely fascinating to see how they interact with and still manage to (depending on your choices) love each other in this lifetime also... and I'm so happy they finally got to KISS. Yessss, get Van, MC! In this life, you get him GOOD!)
Anyway, loved the game, loved its secrets, loved it all. Such a lovely delight of a game!
another spoiler but there are up to 4 lives to experience with Van with very different scenarios! but i’m so glad you liked the game and the different ways to experience love!!! thank you so much for playing and the incredibly kind review and support :’) <3333
Simply BEAUTIFUL. This is such a sweet and romantic story, everything felt so magical!!
I loved the way everything connected together, not just story-wise, but also in other aspects! How the UI represented both the red string of fate and the synesthesia from both the MC and Van; how the music flowed so well with the vibe and even had certain parts where Van would talk; how the art felt so pretty, soft and deep in its simplicity; how well the voice actor fitted Van's character... and of course, the undeniable chemistry between Van and the MC!!
I really loved how they met in each timeline, but I have to say I have a soft spot for the "red strings" story in particular. I'm a big sucker for romance where the couple start sort of hating each other but then they fall super deeply in love AAAHH kdjgbjksdbg, so good!!
Also, can I just say... the whole string of fate in the UI and programming was awesome?? I never experienced anything like that in a visual novel, it was really unique and clever!! A pleasant surprise and, as a gamedev myself, makes me curious and excited to see if I can do something creative with my game menus someday too!
The story really gave me a lot of feels, I couldn't help but love it as the hopeless romantic that I am, thank you for creating such a beautiful game!! <3

the programming is one of the things i was most proud of in the game with the little animations and interactive features of the string on the main menu :’) so i’m glad you noticed it and def can see you doing something just as creative ((if you ever do you must send it to me so i can play!!!) )

Oh my goodness, I am just way in love with this, and with Van. I am so upset I have no more to play/read/experience. He’s wonderful, and this is just so weirdly comforting, despite being also oddly sad - it’s weird.. it’s like a self-fulfilling prophesy. You feel it right along with the game, and it’s just a beautiful thing.

I basically said everything on tumblr but I'm going to write here too. I'm honestly so in love with this game, it hit me in the feels so fast and hard I cried a little during it. I can straight up feel the love and work that went into this game and it makes me feel so warm and cozy in some way? During the game I had such a strong feeling of comfort from Van and I'm sort of just sitting here going "I'm so gay" over and over again but back to the comfort feeling. I don't know how but Van gives such a sense of comfort but also a sense of nostalgia in some way I can't explain. I'm basically rambling but holy I'm so in love I can't word it normally.
I'm honestly just, very comforted in a way by the game. The art is so beautiful, the writing and editing is so well done and Van just gives such a sense of comfort I can't explain it at all but if there was someone I needed in life it's Van please I'm so gay and in love.
I can just feel the love behind the game and it makes me so happy. <3 This was very ramble-y but I just gave my thoughts unfiltered. In short, the comfort and love behind the game makes me so warm and cozy and I would very much ramble to my friends about this game for hours.
